About the Role

To support the institution’s constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, it is seeking qualified professionals to fill the position of Director, Marketing:

Reporting to CEO, you will be accountable to:
• Formulate and implement the overall marketing and branding strategy and direction.
• Oversee marketing functions including brand, content marketing for online, digital, and offline communications channels, CRM, and liaison with industry, universities, and stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Develop a strategic and consistent ‘Brand Story’ for the organization that supports its mission and goals.
• Enhance and expand partnership outreach and ecosystem Identify opportunities for new technology transfer to local industries. Promote strategic alliances with business partners and quangos.
• Engage the organization’s commercialization / client development and R&D teams and to be the interface facilitator relating to commercial and tech innovation partners.
• Shore up a long-term relationship with industry and institutions to consolidate collaboration and bolster the organization’s brand image.
• Build, nurture and constantly enhance the overall marketing and branding quality. Monitor the current analysis of the competitive landscape and positioning relative to the organization’s differentiation.
• Lead and manage the website revamp initiative.
• Prepare and manage the annual marketing budgets.


· Bachelor’s Degree or above in related disciplines.

· Minimum 8 years of related experience in B2B marketing.

· Proven track record in performance-based marketing, with demonstrated success working with internal and external stakeholders from large organization.

· In-depth understanding of current market landscape and trends.

· Sharp business acumen with a strategic mind-set.

· Aggressive and ambitious with strong communication and negotiation skills.

· Excellent command in both English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua is a plus.
