About the Role
- Participate in leading a team of local and oversea resources (around 60+ direct report & total 300+ teammates) for production support and project delivery with other managers/team leads in the application team
- Work closely with other teams and senior stakeholders to define IT solutions and its architecture
- Execute existing application development contracts, develop delivery capability and adoption of development methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate with sales department for developing new business such as pre-sale and consulting capability with the well-known enterprises and public institutions
- Manage and motivate the development team to ensure the design, development, implementation and policies is able to meet the agreed standards and on-time
- Leverage your domain knowledge and experience to deliver advisory services in support of technology enabled business change or maintain the business continuity plans with other operation departments
- Build and maintain relationship such as ensuring the solutions are audited, service level agreement are met and cost controlled
- Involved in further hiring plans and processes for the business growth
Requirements
The candidates could be with a consulting firm/service provider background with a strong proven track record on both large scale project delivery, solution architecture and team management.
Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience including application development, solution architecture and project management with IT consulting firm/solution provider background
Proven track record working as Division Head/Senior Manager or above for managing a dynamic team especially for application development
Strong IT solution delivery management experience and a proven track record of implementing and managing medium to large scale application development or system integration projects with well-known enterprises/public institutions
Experience in supporting business development such as providing domain expertise and consulting methodology, developing value propositions, and presentations to senior executives in client side
Strong leadership skills such as team performance management, prioritizing, decision making and change management
Proficient in spoken and written both Cantonese and English is a must
